As you likely know, aphasia is challenging not only because it is a communication disorder, but also because many people have never heard of it. As an ambassador, we may call on you to help promote things like Aphasia Awareness Month, providing materials to help spread awareness. We may also ask you to give presentations or speak with groups about aphasia — whatever opportunities arise that can help create understanding.
